We had quite a long day of travel! Our flight from Little Rock to Dallas was very uneventful. We had a four hour layover in the Dallas airport, where we had lunch. Then our adventures began.
We boarded our flight to Jackson Hole with no issues, but then it began to storm. We sat on the tarmac for two hours waiting for the storm to pass. The students were very patient and behaved wonderfully! They fed us snacks and lots of water on the plane to keep us happy. Finally, we took off for Jackson Hole around 7:00pm. The second flight was smooth, once in the air. We have now had a very late dinner and been oriented to the Teton Science Schools. We are very excited for our big day tomorrow -- we go on our "Challenge Hike." We'll post more soon.
